Welcome to the official website of the Co-op Scholars Charitable Society!

The Co-op Scholars’ Charitable Society (CSCS) was established by co-op scholars to give students at UNSW an opportunity to make a difference in society.

We organise various charity volunteer activities and fund-raising events to provide students with an opportunity to socialise with people of similar interests, give back to the community and have fun all at the same time!

As a student involved in CSCS you are given the resources and encouragement to support the charities of your choice, and are able to discuss your ideas with fellow students who share your passion for giving back what we receive – the gift of opportunity.

CSCS runs most its major events including the CSCS EMP Race, CSCS Donation Drive and charity volunteer activities such as helping to cook for the homeless.

We also support charity organisations and events including:

  • The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal
  • The Cancer Council Daffodil Day
  • Starlight Star Day
  • Canteen
  • UNSW Yellow Ribbon Program
